Eylure Dylash 45 day mascara

The first product I am going to review has been one of my beauty must-haves for the past couple of years now: Eylure Dylash 45 day mascara.

This product comes in 3 shades - dark brown, black and blue/black and can be used on your lashes and brows.

Inside the pack you get an instruction sheet, a small tube of colour cream, a small bottle of activating solution, a mascara like wand for application, another wand for mixing and some eye protecting pads. Another important aspect is the plastic tray that it is packaged in as this is for mixing the dye.

Basically you squeeze some of the cream into the tray, then add a couple of drops of the mixing solution, stir it up in to a paste, and voila! It's ready to apply.

I use the dark brown one for my eyebrows. Being a natural blonde my natural eyebrows blend in to my face in most lights. I used to use an eyebrow pencil, but much prefer the more natural looking result of the Dylash. So 5 out of 5 for eyebrow dying.

I once had my lashes dyed at a salon and the beauty therapist told me that blue/black comes out darker than black, so for this reason I normally use blue/black on my lashes.

First couple of times I applied it without enough care and too much like mascara and it went in my eyes. If it goes in your eyes, it stings like shampoo and makes your eye water so much that all the Dylash runs off-you have been warned! But after a couple of goes I got the hang of how close it can actually go to your eyelid without ending up in your eye.

Great product, I like to think it makes me look a bit less 'washed out' when I wake up in the morning and have no makeup on. Realistically I don't think it makes a great deal of difference to the look of your lashes, but I'll use it anyway as lack confidence without makeup and want my man to wake up next to me thinking I look half decent! So 4 out of 5 for lash dying.
